What makes Autoimmune Inflammation Different from Inflammation?

Inflammation is a necessary and vital response of the immune system whenever the body is being attacked. It is the body's way of healing itself in the aftermath, and we need it to protect ourselves from viruses, parasites, fungi, and bacteria by repairing the damaged areas. It would be disastrous if we never had a inflammatory response as it would invite infections that could become deadly. The four characteristics often found in inflamed areas  are swelling, redness, heat, and pain that occur because of the activity of proteins, like cytokines, that signal End Autoimmune Inflammation With Amberphagocytic cells and antibodies to destroy the enemy. Pretty cool our body is equipped its very own soldiers, right?

We need this response to a degree when it is needed, but inflammation can take a toll on the body for the worst when it is chronic or when the cell soldiers are attacking themselves rather than the invaders like they are supposed to do. The latter occurs in autoinflammatory diseases where it a direct result of the body, for some reason, treats "self" as "non-self invaders" and attacks its own tissues which causes a higher level of inflammation. This happens because the immune system is not functioning as it should. Overtime the "soldiers" of the body that normally help us cause damaging effects to a multitude of areas where disease is later formed.
