  • Black Amber: While some may believe black amber to belong in the commonly seen group of amber colors, it is actually kind of rare and is believed to account for less than 15% of amber. Baltic Essentials Amber is Natural Medicine

Giving Our Body the Medicine it Needs

Our body loves to take in the goodies it receives by breaking it down for use through what we know as metabolism. We all know that nutrients in the form of fats, carbs, protein, water, vitamins, and minerals are all important to keep our bodies running in optimal condition while aiding in the prevention of many diseases, but could there be a few things within that list we aren't aware of that is beneficial? This is such the case for succinic acid as many individuals are completely unaware of its healing power on the body although it has been used century after century.

Nature is Our Medicine

It may not be so far-fetched to say that the answer to many medical conditions lie in our backyardRaw Unpolished Multi Baltic Amber Bracelet For Adult All Amber For Maximum Effectiveness Arthritis Carpal Tunnel Migraines Back Aches. There are potentially thousands of new species we may not know of that can cure many of the diseases we have although we do not know about it. Still, nature has allowed us to learn so many remedies for issues without having to resort purely on pharmacology. Succinic acid, for example, is a holistic option for just about every problem you can think of, including troublesome pain (acute or chronic).

Conditions Succinic Acid Can Treat

Succinic acid is derived from the Latin word "succinum" which translates as 'amber'. Baltic Essentials Amber can be used for problems such as:

Colds: The immune system is strengthened by amber, which helps thwart chances of you catching the cold, fever, or flu. Baltic Amber Necklace - 15 Or 17 Inch Raw UnPolished Lemon Black Cherry 1-Flower Baltic Amber Necklace For Teen Or Adult Arthritis Carpal Tunnel Cramps Sciatica Headache Back Pain

The Brain: Our nervous system entails our motion and thought process. Sometimes we have built up stress and anxiety caused by physical or mental problems. Succinic acid is powerful enough to help release stress and the buildup of certain chemicals. It can eliminate the root of the cause, helping the brain regain its original function.

Cellular Respiration: The body may lack efficient cellular respiration. The decrease in function could be due to buildup or many other unknown reasons. Succinic acid is able to provide optimal cellular respiration and glucose metabolism so that our body can take in oxygen and sugar for our required needs.

The Heart: Succinic acid can also play a role in the regulation of blood and how that heart pumps that supply. Baltic amber is as much of an option for those suffering from cardiovascular diseases by improving the conditions. Word has it that amber can even prevent heart attacks.

Inflammatory Diseases: Those with inflammatory conditions, like arthritis, can benefit from amber because of its anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antioxidant properties that help treat the root of the problem and the pain.

Teething and Colic Pain: Amber today is probably most known for its effect on kids. It is quite the star for helping relieve teething and colic pain. The beads should be worn so the succinic acid can be released to the skin where it provides a soothing and healing effect.

Body Cleansing: The mystical wonders of amber is able to rid the body of chronic pain and built up negative energy. It can promote concentration and heal our organs such as the liver and intestines. The body works better and feels more refreshed as a result. Raw Unpolished Lemon Flower 17 Inch Baltic Amber Necklace For Big Kid, Child, Or Adult

8 Foods That Cause Inflammation and Pain

Inflammatory Foods

When Food Could be the Enemy

Foods that we should be avoiding, in general, are often not really “food.” In many cases, they are nothing more than chemical alterations added into our foods by companies in order to make stuff taste better or last longer. Health is the last thing food industries really think about when packing food so long as they are making profit. With the amount of processed foods that have increased over the years, the same can be said with the increased incidence of cancers and disorders such as autoimmune and anti-inflammatory disorders.

Sure, it is important for every person to watch what they purchase and eat, but doing so is especially crucial for those who suffer from inflammatory disorders of the skin and within the body in order to help avoid making it worse.

Avoid These Inflammatory Causing Foods

Diary

Creamy Alfredo, stringy mozzarella cheese and rich ice cream are nothing short of delightful for dairy fanatics. However, the over abundance of them in your diet may be the reason for the appearance or intensity of your pain. Contrary to the popular belief that building strong bones comes from drinking milk and adding dairy products to the diet, bone strength actually comes from eating a plant based diet. Milk, especially from a cow, is not tolerated well by the body, whether someone is lactose intolerant or not. The fact that it contains gut-healing probiotics still does not save diary from the greater list of harm it can cause for those already struggling with inflammation.  It is a highly inflammatory food that only results in causing more inflammatory issues the more it is processed.

Processed/Grain-Fed Meat

Hotdogs, jerky, sausages, bacon, and sub meat are all examples of processed meats. They are usually made from red meat that is loaded with saturated fats along with extreme levels of advanced glycation end products (AGEs), which are inflammatory substances created during its process. Processed meats could have been injected with coloring and preservatives.

Although grain-fed animals sound like a healthy option, it can be just as bad since they are typically kept in concentrated animal feeding operations where they grow to be extremely unhealthy. They are not able to graze on food that is naturally occurring in the environment. The tight areas they are restricted to are not in great condition, and they are barely kept alive by being fed hormones, antibiotics, and other drugs. Cooking these meats does not necessarily get rid all the bad additives. The body has to work harder to use what it finds useful and eliminate what it doesn’t. In fact, cooking them at high temperate only creates inflammatory cancer causing pathogens. Eating too much of the meat may cause the body to lose its proper way of elimination and swell certain areas.  Ideally, you want to eat grass-fed meat or try to limit red meat intake to, at most, three times a week.

The “Bad” Fats

We need to have a certain amount of fat in our diet to be healthy and keep the body running functionally. The best fats to consume, whenever possible, are unsaturated fats though saturated fats from animals are fine too. Still, vegetable oil like canola, soy, and corn – when used for frying – should be avoided. Trans fats (hydrogenated oils) are best avoided altogether. Common culprits are usually shortening and margarine, microwavable popcorn, and a variety of frozen dinner meals and sweets. Trans fats is something that is completely manmade and is not found naturally in foods. The body determines that it is an unknown foreign substance and cannot break it down for use. It is likely that it can stimulate an immune reaction, and damage the body from within. Reading labels before buying food and questioning foods that do not should become a practice.

Alcohol

Alcohol is also something to think about if it is something you regularly take in your diet. You may or may not know that the liver is the one that has to do all the hard work at eliminating alcohol that is ingested.  Even though the liver does a fantastic job at detoxifying it, excessive intake of alcohol can ultimately disrupt normal liver function and possibly other organs which can lead to inflammation. It is best to abstain or limit intake of alcohol.

The Swelling can be Managed

It can be hard to live with pain, more so when it feels as if it will never end. Making food diet and life practices can help decrease the level of inflammation you are experiencing. Applying anti-inflammatory medication to the area of discomfort can also decrease swelling. Baltic Essentials has a wide range of natural analgesic products, such as Amber for those suffering from joint, tooth, or muscle pain; autoimmune diseases and asthma caused by swelling due to an allergic reaction.

A Prescription Drug Alternative for Toxic Substances

Sore throat, runny nose, itchy eyes, and the endless coughing... Let's face it; we all hate getting sick and aim to avoid it at all possible costs --especially during flu season. Many people are subconsciously accustomed to constantly washing their hands, avoiding contact with those who are already "infected" like the plague, and load up on Vitamin C or Zinc. While these methods are great ways to prevent getting sick, there are other ways you can succumb to it that you are probably overlooking.

The importance of  Detoxing

Illnesses within our bodies may be also caused by the amount of toxins or toxic substances that accumulated, and removing existing toxins is a helpful way to avoid certain illnesses, infections, or diseases.

It is common knowledge that drugs and alcohol are toxic substances, especially when abused, which can cause a range of problems in your body. They contain metals such as: mercury, lead, aluminum, and arsenic. These substances are also found in everyday products that we wear and foods we eat. Having heightened level of metals in the body can cause a person to get sick, and many people are unaware of it. Here are some symptoms a person can develop that stem from heavy metal toxicity:

  • Chronic fatigue
  • Autoimmune disease
  • Neurological disorders
  • Brain fog
  • Depression, Bi-polar, and Anxiety
  • Dementia
  • Insomnia

  • It is a natural painkiller
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • It works with the immune system to help protect against diseases

The Wonders of Baltic Amber

Amber in itself is very powerful, however; when combined with turquoise, it is even more advantageous. Turquoise has been used by Native Americans, Egyptians, and the Ancient Chinese as an alternative treatment for a variety of ailments. The
magnificent stone is more than just beautiful; it aids in purification and detoxification. Turquoise is also beneficial for those who suffer from asthma and allergies.

To this day, many doctors understand and value the importance of detoxifying. It is vital that we understand how to get rid of unwanted materials and toxic substances that can and will harm us internally over time. Colds and disease do not only happen out of the blue because of a cold night or being exposed to someone who is ill for a certain amount of time (though it does happen). If you find that you are constantly getting sick or want to build your immune system even more then try Baltic Essentials Amber with Turquoise. It can be the simple answer to your problems that you have always been looking for.

Natural Treatment for Asthma

Asthma

If you have asthma, you are all too familiar with the uncomfortable feeling you may get from time to time; as if there’s a pile of bricks in your chest. You’re at the pool, the gym or the park living life trying to get some exercise; you’re having a deep belly laugh over a funny joke; or maybe you happened to encounter an irritant, like cigarette smoke in the air. Next thing you know, you feel it -- a tight pinch that begins in your chest and may travel up to your shoulders and back. In almost an instant, you feel your breathing passages start to constrict and your breathing becomes shallower. You start coughing and wheezing, desperately searching for your inhaler before your air supply completely cuts off.

Using Medication for Asthma

Seconds seem longer than an eternity when you’re waiting for the medicine to kick in while your heart pounds, your palms sweat, and you feel light-headed. Once the finally medicine kicks in, you notice your heart rate increases, your skin begins to flush and you are left with the cases of the jitters. Sure, you can breathe again, but for the next several minutes- or even hours- you’ll probably still have “the shakes” as the medicine metabolizes through the body.

A Natural Route

So how can you prevent asthma attacks from happening? One idea is that you could stop going to the pool, the gym, or the park, give up laughing hysterically at jokes, and live in an irritant-free bubble;  however, it doesn’t seem practical nor possible.  Sadly, even using an asthma medicine as a prevention will not always prevent you from having asthma attacks when you least expect them. Don’t you wish there was an easier way, something simple that didn’t require inhalers and nebulizers?

Baltic Essentials Turquoise for Asthma

There is an excellent natural alternative for treating asthma, and the answer is simpler than you might think- turquoise. Turquoise has high contents of copper and phosphorous, both known to reduce inflammation and help open breathing passages.  It is called the “gem of kings” and has been used for centuries to aid in healing, clear the mind and bring good fortune.  Even old King Tut himself prized turquoise so much that his coffin is filled with the precious stones.

Ancient cultures from all over the world loved turquoise for its unique powers back then, such as the ancient Chinese and Turks (from where turquoise gets its name), the ancient Egyptians, and the ancient Incas and Mayas. Even now, the love for the powerful gem remains.Turquoise is known to inspire confidence, mental clarity, and heal the lungs because of its ability to increase circulation.  It is associated with the throat chakra, which supports the neck and lower sinuses. Knowing that, it makes sense to wear turquoise around the neck to receive optimal benefits from it.

Baltic Essentials Has Natural Turquoise Necklaces as well as authentic Baltic amber, which is famous for its power to reduce inflammation. You can reap the highest level of benefits by using both stones.  These precious stones will make breathing easier and it doesn't hurt that they are beautiful to wear. Treat Asthma Naturally

Longer days and warmer temperatures start creeping in and little by little and notice you are losing the bulky layers of clothes that kept you warm. This can only signify one thing: Spring is here! Or at least, it’s working on it. Parts of the country are witnessing a range in temps from the 30s to the 70s, some even experience this in the same week! It appears we still have a while to go before we get to pack up those warm winter coats for good.

The flip/flop from cold to warm weather and back again may be nothing for most people, but with anyone with asthma, the change can be an irritating occurrence. Many asthma sufferers experience an increase in symptoms when there is a fluctuation in temperatures during a seasonal change, including coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, and/or tightness in the chest.

What Is Asthma, And Why Does Seasonal Change Affect It?

Asthma is a  chronic and long-term condition that affects the lungs and occurs when the airways become inflamed and start to constrict, unpleasantly tightening the airways. The narrowing of the airway may be paired with an overproduction of mucous that can make breathing that much more difficult -- even life-threatening. While not the case for everyone, many asthma sufferers notice their flare ups worsen anytime there is an abrupt change in temperature a shift in seasons or a sudden storm. Cold, dry air tends to tighten lungs, which is typically the worst trigger for asthma symptoms; hot, humid conditions can contribute as well. A constant back-and-forth between two temperatures can easily lead to discomfort for asthmatics. Any sudden change in air pressure can also potentially inflame the airways. It is vital to make sure you are prepared during seasonal transitions because it is an essential part of maintaining your respiratory health when you have asthma.

How Can One Treat Asthma?

Typically, asthmatics are prescribed an inhaler by their doctor, which releases measured doses of a steroid that allow the lungs to open, and making breathing easy again. Still, because there is no real cure for asthma, the inhaler as only effective for addressing any outward symptoms, such as shortness of breath when the body is under attack. For anyone with severe asthma, the inhaler can be life-saving, and should be carried at all times.

Preventative measures such as keeping rooms as free of dust as possible and shutting the windows during pollen season can help keep asthma attacks at bay. These measure are always recommended, whether you rely on an inhaler or not.

There is also a naturopathic route where the goal is to keep inflammation of the airways at a minimum. It is done by eating foods that are rich in anti-inflammatory properties, such as ginger, honey, garlic, or figs. However, natural solutions for asthma aren’t limited to systemic options just these options alone. Baltic Essentials Amber Turquoise, which has been used for thousands of years to treat various ailments, from toothaches to migraines, can also provide relief for anyone living with asthma.

What Makes Baltic Essentials Amber Effective?

Because asthma is the result of an inflamed airway, the naturally anti-inflammatory properties found in Baltic amber can help prevent an attack from coming on before it starts, thus serving as a natural treatment for asthma. Baltic amber is considered highly therapeutic due to the succinic acid it contains, which has been known to boost immune system functions. When it is worn around the neck, the body’s natural heat warms the baltic amber, causing it to release the essential compound into the body. Ultimately, it helps improve the airflow to the lungs as well as to the circulatory system.

The Baltic Essentials Rainbow Cognac Necklace contains Baltic amber, rose quartz, amethyst, green fluorite, Turquoise, and purple fluorite. Turquoise is a known natural stone to help provide the asthmatic body with much needed anti-inflammatory properties, lower stress, and detoxify the system. When paired with any of the above mentioned treatment solutions, a Baltic Essentials Amber piece worn around the neck warms and soothes the throat and airways, giving asthma sufferers their best shot at breathing easy, regardless of the weather outside. Navigate though BalticEssentials.com to find an array of products that serve as a natural treatment for asthma.

A recent testimony: I bought this necklace for my 5 year old daughter to help with her asthma. I have it paired with another Amber necklace because this one is only half Amber but I'm told the turquoise helps "purify the air around you" by the makers of this necklace. Well, she went hunting with her dad for three days (in the cold) and they stayed in the home of two smokers who won't go outside (yes I know it's bad but she wanted to go and there was nowhere else for them to stay). Normally, a few hours there would have her coughing for days. She came home and hasn't hardly coughed at all! And I've seen a marked improvement on her symptoms as a whole even with going into winter and the weather going back and forth so much here. Hopefully, if her symptoms remain this good, she will be off her asthma meds next spring or summer!
